Game Release Date
It was first released in 2013 for Microsoft Windows and Mac OX. Then later on was released in 2016
through Telltale Publishing for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
Setting
The game is set in the fictional world of Navezgane County Arizona, after the events of the third world war,
leaving the earth shattered. Nobody knows where all the zombies came from, although it is suspected that it
was caused by the radiation and biochemical weapons used in the previous world war. The player would
play as a survivor of the post apocalyptic zombie infested world of Navezgane County Arizona. It offers
players the freedom to play the game in their own style, at their own pace. Unleashing a mixture of their
combat, building, and looting skills.
Gameplay
7 Days to Die isn’t your typical survival horror game. It is an open world game that combines first person
shooter, survival, and role playing games. Players would be allowed to do other activities like engage in
combat, looting, crafting, mining, building, exploring, and so much more. It is kind of similar to the game
Minecraft, except it includes a whole lot of zombies you would have to defend yourself from. So if you like survival games, or games similar to Minecraft, or even a combination of both, then this is the perfect game
for you to try out. It offers you everything you are looking for, and so much more. You will never get bored
playing.
Development Of The Game
Despite its release back in 2013 for Microsoft Windows and Mac OX, and its release in 2016 for PlayStation
4 and Xbox one, the game still isn’t fully developed, and is still in it’s Alpha stage development. Game
developers today are still on the works in releasing updated alpha versions of the game. As the game further
progresses, it requires even more updates.
In June 2020, the Alpha 19 version was released, adding in new survival systems, HD characters and
zombies, new and improved quests, new locations, new equipment, animation improvements, audio and
graphic improvements, etc. The Alpha 20 version has yet to have a confirmed release date, all we know is
that its coming real soon. It will offer an even more updated version of the previous one, allowing players to
have an even better experience that they will definitely look forward to.
